great stay with minor room issues
The superior king room was spacious and had beautiful river views. The friendly staff provided attentive service, and the dining experience was excellent in both the restaurant and the garden.
The only downside was the slight musty smell in the bathroom.

Gotta say, the home-baked bread was a slice of heaven! Plus, the breakfast spread had something for everyone—loved all the cook-your-own options! The staff even adjusted our room so we could soak in a roll-top bath after a long day walking. Pure bliss!
Now, a cheeky note on the room, the bed had a bit too much give for my taste, and we had to wrangle with the early checkout—felt a touch rushed squeezing kids out by 10am. Plus, a tea time cobweb was a tad distracting!

The room was spacious with beautiful river views. Super clean and well-maintained, which made it feel cozy. Great bathroom, too! I loved the charming decor and it had all the basics covered. Just had to mention, the bed felt a bit soft for me. a lovely spot to rest after a day out.

Had an amazing time with my friends here! We explored quaint spots nearby and soaked in the beautiful countryside. Loved the free annual music festival, Foxstock. Do note, the rooms are great but the bar closes early. Still, the breakfast selection is top-notch!
The only downside was a noticeable smell in the bathroom at times, which wasn't pleasant. They mentioned ongoing repairs, so hopefully, it'll be fixed soon.

Lovely stay in a cozy pub vibe
Had a fab time here! Our room was spacious and super clean. The large bathroom was a real bonus. The beer garden outside was great to chill in, and the food menu was surprisingly good! The only bummer was that we didn’t get to try the food since we were out for a wedding. Would def recommend it!

Charming riverside setting with friendly service. Enjoyed the outdoor garden and relaxed atmosphere. The food pricing seemed a bit high for the quality. Noisy during the night, which disrupted relaxation. Perfect spot for cycling or fishing nearby.
